But her hairstyles as of late have been nothing short of glamour-girl elegant. We’re totally loving the latest look that her hairstylist posted to Instagram on August 8 and 9. Emma Roberts’ Hair On ‘Jimmy Fallon’ — Get Her Stunning Updo
Emma’s updo was done by Ryan Trygstad of Sally Hershberger Salon, so it’s no wonder that her hair looks that fab. And while the look is fairly intricate, you can ensure that your hair looks great by using the proper styling products.
First, spray day old hair (don’t try a look this complex with fresh hair — the hair will be too slippery and won’t hold the style), with Sally Hershberger Major Body Volumizing Style Boost. Although it isn’t technically labeled as one, this is essentially a hairspray — and a very snazzy one at that. It leaves no sticky reside and beefs up hair volume to make getting a textured style a snap. Plus it’s a water-free formula, which means it’s humidity resistant.
Once you’ve sprayed your hair, made a deep side part and take the strands on the left side of your head and start twisting them back, strand by strand, towards the roots of your hair and down along near your ear. Once the sides are complete, start twirling the hair at the back of your head strand by strand and then begin to twist the twirled strand back to your head. Secure each twist with something like a Goody Spin Pin, for maximum hold.
