Good news! The ladies of Danity Kane are officially back together, and they made a big announcement at the MTV VMAs on Aug. 25.
‘NSYNC, who? The biggest get-together at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York wasn’t the boy band — no, it was the official reunion of Danity Kane! Danity Kane VMAs Reunion — Group Reveals Exciting News
On Aug. 25, four of the original five members of Danity Kane — Dawn Richards, Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, and Aubrey O’Day — walked the red carpet in sexy outfits, revealing they’re back and hotter than ever before. Missing was fifth member D. Woods, who it seems is not partaking in this big reunion.
And there’s more to this reunion than just attending the awards show together — during an interview with MTV on the red carpet, they revealed some very exciting information: they’re working on new music! The ladies said a brand-new single, “Rage,” will be hitting the airwaves soon!
Surprisingly, they said they’re working without the help of Diddy this time. They’re clearly happy with the breakup and are very emotional about finally reuniting after the group fell apart in 2009. During the VMAs, Aubrey tweeted “Back in NYC, at the first show DK ever walked… on our OWN TERMS! Tearing up.”
