At the VMA’s red carpet on Aug. 25, Harry revealed that he and the rest of the One Direction boys knew of Zayn Malik and Perrie Edward’s engagement before the rest of the world. Zayn Malik revealed to the world that he was engaged to Perrie Edwards on Aug. 20, and while it came as a surprise to many, his One Direction band mates were not shocked because they already knew! Speaking at the MTV VMA’s on Aug. 25 in New York, Harry Styles revealed all the details. Read on to see what he said! Harry Styles Talks Zayn Malik’s Engagement “We knew before the papers knew,” Harry told Sway Calloway on the red carpet at the Brooklyn Barclay’s Center, revealing that he and the rest of One Direction were well aware of Zayn’s plans. How cute! Zayn, 20, and Harry, 19, have been in the band for over three years together, and it is clear that they are so close. Perhaps Zayn will have his 1D boys as his groomsmen!
