Lady Gaga bared all — or nearly all — to end her opening performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. The daring performer had a crazy amount of quick outfit changes during her VMA performance, but her most memorable outfit was certainly her mermaid bikini.
Lady Gaga Strips Down During MTV VMAs Performance
Lady Gaga really left her heart on the stage during her performance … and quite a few articles of clothing!
Gaga stripped all of her elaborate, colorful costumes off and got down to a double seashell bra top and G-string that was held together by only flowers and a single real seashell. Let’s call it a bikini, for the sake of clarity. The singer paired her barely-there bikini ensemble with a wig of wild blond curls, which really completely her mermaid look.

Gaga even finished out the rest of the MTV Video Music Awards show sitting in the audience wearing her seashell bra and barely-there seashell adorned thong. Clearly she was confident with her smoking hot bod! She danced along to other performers’ hits wearing her skimpy get-up — continuing her own dramatic stage performance!
With her sexy strip down, Lady Gaga really gave the twerking Miley Cyrus a run for the unofficial honorary title of Most Shocking Strip-Down Of The 2013 VMAs!
