The ‘Roar’ songstress took a walk on the wild side with her interesting get-up! Did you like her fierce fashion sense or was it way to flashy? VOTE.
Judging by Katy Perry‘s MTV VMAs dress it’s clear she must be really excited to perform “Roar” — after all, she did turn up in a full-on leopard frock! The 28-year-old arrived at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25 where she put her legs on full display thanks to a thigh-high slit.

Katy was all smiles as she stormed the carpet in an all-out leopard Emanuel Ungaro dress from the Fall 2013 collection. While a thigh-high slit and the sexy leopard pattern are eye-catching enough, the dress went even further, featuring both long sleeves and a turtle neck. Sure, the covered up silhouette makes up for the seriously sexy slit, but the turtle neck makes her seem a bit too covered up — but that’s not all! The dress also features embellishments on the neck, sleeves and chest that almost look like feathers.
Due to the busy dress, Katy kept the rest of her look rather simple and relied on a pair of black, ankle-strap sandals and a bun. A nude, glossy lip gave the star a fresh-faced feel. I think keeping her beauty simple was a smart choice give the design of the dress.

Don’t get me wrong, Katy’s figure looks killer and the frock fits her like a glove, however, there was just a little too much going on for me to get on board with this get-up.
