James, 36, and his wife Kimberly announced on Aug. 30 that they are adding to their brood with their third child, due this winter. Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!
The third time is a charm for James Van Der Beek and his wife! Kimberly Van Der Beek is pregnant with the couple’s third baby, making a full house with their daughter Olivia, 2-years-old, and son Joshua, 17-months old. The pair opens up about their happiness and getting into nesting mode for the third time. We’re overjoyed for them!

The former Dawson’s Creek star expressed his joy over welcoming the third addition to his family. "I feel ridiculously blessed. I feel so much love, honestly,” James tells People.
Kimberly also took to her personal blog to announce the baby news and share her feelings on nesting. “James and I are happy to report that we are expecting our third child this winter! … James and I are beyond elated and feeling so incredibly blessed,” she wrote. “Olivia and Joshua are in on the news and seem to be excited about a baby coming into the family. And James, thank you for being the loving, caring and understanding husband and father that you are.” SO sweet and loving!

She also described what she’s been doing around the house to prepare for the baby. “Nesting mode is starting to kick in. I've been getting rid of clutter, reconfiguring rooms, reorganizing EVERYTHING etc… my mind doesn't stop. I'm looking into meditation for that, ” she wrote.
As far as knowing the sex of the baby, the couple will find out the old-fashioned way. "I never really had a preference with either one of the first two," says James to People. "We already have all the stuff for girls and boys, so there is no logistical reason for me to know, so we thought it would be fun to do it old school."
James will star in the show Friends With Better Lives this fall. We’ll be watching, James — and anxiously anticipating the birth of the third baby Van Der Beek!
