She’s just being Miley! If there was ever any question as to why the star is so twerk-happy, as she displayed at the VMAs, her pal Mandy Jiroux says that it’s just because of her personality.
Miley Cyrus, 20, and the word “twerk” are now synonymous, and like her hit song, she can’t stop and won’t stop with her love of twerking. Her friend Mandy Jiroux, 25, a dancer and choreographer for Sky Blu of LMFAO, explains why that is.
Miley Cyrus: Twerking For ‘Fun’
“Miley has been twerkin’ and booty poppin’ since I’ve known her,” said friend Mandy Jiroux to E! News. ”It’s just part of her fun personality.”
Now the whole world knows about her personality too — and if you didn’t know about Miley’s love of twerking before her Aug. 25 MTV VMAs performance, now you definitely do. Mandy would know, as she costarred with Miley in the The Miley and Mandy Show on Youtube and was in the film Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert.
“You’re supposed to have fun at the VMAs and that’s what she did. She had a memorable performance and now the whole world is talking about her!” said Mandy. It was indeed the defining twerk of the century, and will be, without a doubt, talked about for a long time. So if you’re not aboard the Miley twerking train, now might be a good time to hop on!
Miley Cyrus Tweets About Twerking
With critical backlash of Miley’s VMAs performance came a tweet from her on Aug. 28 that shows what her dad thought about her performance, too. “Mile, if twerkin woulda been invented…. And I had a foam finger…. I woulda done the same thang you did.” – DAD, ” she tweeted.
Looks like she’s just having fun, like Mandy said. And to anyone who doesn’t agree is probably going to get the big foam finger!
