President Obama's fifth State of the Union address took place on Feb. 12, and while Barack delivered an important message, his right hand woman Michelle supported him in sparkly wine-colored dress.
President Barack Obama took to the stand to deliver this year’s State of the Union address, and all ears were on him as he talked about the economy, immigration, gun control and violence, and climate change. But all eyes were on his lovely wife Michelle Obama who wowed the room in her wine-colored A-line dress, with a black collar.
Michelle Obama’s State Of The Union Dress
Michelle dressed in winter colors when she arrived at Congress for the speech, and she was greeted with polite applause when she entered the room. Rocking her blunt bangs, Michelle wore a high necked, A-line dress with a floral brooch, that had a black collar and glitzy maroon body.
Once again, Michelle wears the perfect outfit for the occasion! Twitter was awash with comments about her bare arms, and how fabulous her bangs are.
However, what was most noticeable about Michelle’s entrance was not what she was wearing, but who she greeted first. Michelle went to stand beside Cleopatra Pendleton and her husband Nathaniel, the parents of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton, who was tragically shot and killed a week after performing at the Presidential Inauguration on Jan. 21. Michelle attended her funeral earlier this month.
The designer of Michelle’s dress is yet to be revealed, but we know that Michelle is a big fan of both Jason Wu and J Crew, so it could be one of their designs. Either way, she looks amazing!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Does Michelle look amazing? Do YOU like her dress?
