Decorated Manicures At Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week
If opulently decorated digits are totally your style, Deborah Lippmann’s pyramid-studded creation for Kate Spade and butter LONDON‘s bejeweled Libertine version are sure to impress. These high-fashion styles are accessories on their own — though they are sure to get in the way of your rapid texting!
Emerson‘s graphic plaid by ORLY brings a punch of mod art to any style. Black and white makes the look more wearable, as it goes with everything!
Nude & Neutral Nails At Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week
You can’t go wrong with a simple, clean manicure. If you’re tired of the same old boring French, grab some inspiration from Ralph Rucci and Helmut Lang, both created by Essie. These barely-there pales accentuate the paler styles of winter!
For a neutral nail look with more edge, try out the black lacquered looks of BCBGMAXAZRIA and Cynthia Rowley. Crisp, spooky blacks — by OPI and Deborah Lippmann, respectively — look great on every skin tone and are perfect for fall’s transition into winter.
Vibrant Colored Manis At Fall 2013 New York Fashion Week
Lela Rose‘s bright pop of yellow from Deborah Lippmann is an unexpected fall shade that is almost as neutral as gold.
The Tracy Reese runway show was filled with bright colors — and that vibrant style is directly reflected in the form of cool nail looks by Sally Hansen!
To re-create the look, swipe one coat of shimmering gold shade “Wedding Glitters” and let dry. Then layer the upcoming bright teal called “New Wave Blue” down the center allowing the gold to peek out on either side. “New Wave Blue” and two other shades, “Perfectly Poppy” and “Malbec,” will be launched in September 2013 for $7.99 each.
