Plus: Spencer completes her descent into madness, and yet another suspect emerges in Alison’s murder. Just another week in Rosewood!
After getting kicked off the academic decathlon team, Spencer (Troian Bellisario) went fifty shades of cray on the Feb. 12 episode of Pretty Little Liars — and just like the book, she had a parade of beefy dudes telling her what to do! First came hot-nerd Andrew (Brandon Jones), who is built like a blessed mountain, followed by Dr. Wren (Julian Morris), who prescribed her 50 cc’s of romantic dinner.
But Spencer’s insanity also manifested itself in less-sexy ways, like when she totally snapped and tried to kill Mona (Janel Parrish) in front of the entire decathlon team. Even with Andrew and Wren there to restrain her — don’t lie, you were jealous — the situation was less than ideal.
The ‘Wrong’ Fitz? Ain’t No Such Thing.
Meanwhile, Aria (Lucy Hale) was — as always — up to her pretty little neck in Fitz drama. CeCe (Vanessa Ray) basically tricked Aria and Wesley (Gregg Sulkin) into helping her take some pictures, and got exactly what she deserved when they accidentally spilled a bottle of red wine on her carpet.
Of course, that little mess quickly paled in comparison to the mess Aria found herself in when Wesley kissed her! Actually, that wasn’t enough exclamation points.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Better?)
I’m starting to think it wasn’t such a good idea for Aria to let Wesley sleep at her house.
Oh, Spencer’s Half-Brother, Where Art Thou?
In other sexy-pairing news, Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Jason (Drew Van Acker) teamed up to find a collage Alison (Sasha Pieterse) had made for her dad. Not only did the photos reveal that Ali was with Detective Wilden (Bryce Johnson) at Cape May, but they had an unexpected friend by their side: CeCe!
Cue yet another delightful flashback to the night Ali was killed: Jason suddenly remembered seeing CeCe — who he thought was Ali — engaging in some shady talk with Melissa (Torrey DeVitto). Then, after a flash of lightning, they were gone! Dun, dun dun!
The fun continued when the elevator malfunctioned, sending Jason plummeting down the shaft (tee hee!) and straight into a hospital bed. The girls rallied around him for support, but the second they left his side, he straight-up vanished. And all this immediately after he accused “someone” being out to get the last remaining member of the “N.A.T.” club. Suspicious much?
Caleb Finally Has A Dad — A Really Shady Dad
Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) finally got used to the idea of having his dad in his life this week, but he might be changing his tune pretty soon. After a relaxing night at the Marin household, Hanna (Ashley Benson) noticed two dice scribbled on some money in Caleb’s dad’s wallet.
Is he not to be trusted? What’s the deal?
Since this week gave us a lot to chew on, I leave you with this incredibly delightful picture of hot-nerd Andrew. Let his mysteriously muscular nerd body calm your nerves, then drop a comment with your reaction to tonight’s many shirtless revelations:
