Lil Wayne was hit with another scary medical emergency on March 12 when he was filming a music video late in the night and suffered what appeared to be multiple seizures, TMZ is reporting. The rapper was rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital.
Fortunately, he was released just a few hours later, early in the morning of March 13. Sources tell TMZ he is doing much better following the incident.
Lil Wayne Hospitalized In October For Seizure-Like Symptoms
The “Lollipop” rapper was also hospitalized on Oct. 25 after he experienced "seizure-like symptoms" on his private jet. The plane made an emergency stop in Texas, where Lil Wayne was rushed for emergency medial treatment, TMZ reported at the time. He was only in the hospital for a few hours, and checked out that evening.
Following that scary hospitalization, Weezy’s rep told HollywoodLife.com in a statement:
"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."
But the next day, he was back in the hospital. He was showing the same symptoms on a flight from Texas to Los Angeles, according to TMZ. The site reports that Weezy was admitted to a hospital in Louisiana for treatment.
We hope he is doing better now, and we wish for a speedy and healthy recovery.
