Nicki Minaj, 30, is showing the world that she does have a personal side, opening up in an interview with ELLE magazine — but honestly it’s her cleavage that really has us taking notice! In an unzipped jacket and a crop top, the spread features a slew of sexy shots.
Inside the mag she gets personal, and who would have believed that this woman was a victim of bullying? Today, the fierce diva has no problem expressing her ‘two cents’ on any subject manner in the music industry. Apparently Nicki’s childhood ‘abuse’ was what could have given her this infinite backbone that gives her the ‘voice’ we all get to hear. The star says, "I went through a lot of bullying early on. Girls made my life a living hell. We had come to America from a different country. My brother and I had accents. It was very tough.”
While we are used to seeing the songstress all done up in a wacky outfit and sporting her signature pink lips, she has a much softer appearance on the cover, giving a stronger connection to the interview where she clearly ‘bared’ it all.
Nicki also gave a very personal message to women everywhere saying, "My advice to women in general: Even if you're doing a nine-to-five job, treat yourself like a boss. Not arrogant, but be sure of what you want- and don't allow people to run anything for you without your knowledge.” Talk about coming clean! Having gained an esteemed sense of what life is all about, the ‘idol’ judge gave a very respectable message to women everywhere.
It was revealed that her earliest priority was to buy her mother a home. Later on Ms. Minaj realized than empire could be her next main focus, a ‘world dominating’ plan in some lights. “I'm thinking of a legacy that I can be proud of and wealth that my grandchildren can use to go to college. So world domination- in terms of providing for my family – is absolutely my goal."
The starlet is really showing the world how far she has come and how hard she is willing to work for her ‘legacy.’ Nicki is a diva in her own right and proves it with her loud personality that we get to see daily.
