Nicki Minaj’s Beauty Look On ‘American Idol’
Nicki’s hair was big-bird yellow, bright pink and platinum blonde during the auditions for American Idol. For the recent live shows, she’s toned it down a bit, with straight, long blonde locks. She still rocked super dark roots, though.
Her newest cover look is the cleanest she’s ever been! No wig and very little makeup for Nicki. So how did she feel about it?
"When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I'm so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it's hard,” Nicki admitted.
“I feel that it's become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol' crazy lashes- you know, nothing – I felt naked. It was scary! So this photo shoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes."

Nicki is a brand ambassador for MAC, where she has two shades of Viva Glam lipstick and lipgloss. All proceeds from sales of the lipstick benefit men, women and children living and affected by HIV and AIDS.
