The royal couple has been making renovations to ensure their new home for their baby is safe and secure, and now more plans have been revealed for their future family’s house! Read on for all the details.
As Prince William and Kate Middleton take extra measures to ensure their Norfolk home on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate is completely protected and private for when their little bundle of joy arrives in July, more house renovations have been revealed that detail just how they are keeping their new house safe and secure!
The royal family had extra shrubs and trees planted on the property to shield the house from photographers and prying eyes, and now the couple is making even more renovations to the mansion at Amner Hall, which the Queen is reportedly planning on gifting to Kate and William, according to the Daily Mail.
Kate & William’s House Renovations Revealed
Some of the other plans include converting a wood store, which could possibly be used for security to guard the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They also want to extend a garage into an equipment room, according to the Daily Mail.
Other privacy renovations include making a public gate that leads to nearby St Mary’s Church now private, and creating a new separate public entrance to the church. The monarchy might also pay for a private parking lot for the church.
History Of The House On The Queen’s Norfolk Estate
The notorious country home, where Prince Charles conducted his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, has been approved to be given renovations to make the home more private for the Duke and Duchess for when they move in. Kate and William are looking want to reside at the house full-tome because of it's already private and secure location — it sits on an expansive 20,000-acre estate — and will become even more secluded after renovations are made.
