Say hello to the first three characters on ABC Family’s ‘Pretty Little Liars’ spin-off, then give us your casting suggestions!
With only six months left until the series premiere of Ravenswood, we’re starting to learn bits and pieces about what to expect from the Pretty Little Liars spin-off. We already know it’s going to focus on a cursed town not too far from Rosewood — and now, thanks to HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine, we know three of the town’s inhabitants!
‘Ravenswood’ Characters Revealed: Meet Miranda, Abel & Caleb
First up is Miranda, a 17-year-old girl described as being “feisty, disarming and unconventionally attractive.” She’s a foster kid with “tons of confidence,” and she’s got lots of “emotional scars.” She’s got the potential to be a “fearless, loyal friend” — but only if you’re willing to work on breaking through her “tough exterior.”
(She actually sounds a lot like Spencer!)
We’ve now arrived at the man-candy portion of our introductions: Abel, also 17, is a “lone wolf … with brooding intensity.” According to his official description, he “may have something dangerous lurking inside him,” which is always never a good thing. Much like Miranda, he’ll “never let you down,” but a test of loyalty is required first.
(Hmm… Caleb, anyone?)
And then there’s Olivia, Abel’s twin sister, who isn’t quite the good girl she once was. She’s described as a “former prom queen … struggling with a recent fall from grace,” as recent developments in her life “have her questioning what’s important, what’s not and who her real friends are.”
(I’m not sure which Rosewood resident to compare Olivia to, but she sounds like a mix of Hanna and Mona.)
