Could the Tatum family be any sweeter? New mommy Jenna Dewan-Tatum is absolutely loving parenthood, and she had the nicest things to say about her hubby, Channing! You have to check out the adorable interview!
Jenna Dewan-Tatum, 32, and husband Channing Tatum, 33, welcomed their first child, a little girl named Everly, on May 31, and have been relishing every moment with their bundle of joy. While the new mommy has since gone back to work, she’s taking every possible opportunity to gush about her new family, and how amazing Channing is as a father.
Jenna Dewan-Tatum Gushes About Husband Channing Tatum
Jenna certainly has a lot to be thankful for, and at the top of the list is her husband (People’s Sexiest Man Alive!) and her beautiful daughter! And when she adds the two together? Well, she just melts! Jenna spoke to People on July 26 at a Television Critics Association event in Beverly Hills all about her beautiful family! She told the mag:
You see the thing you love the most with the other thing you love the most, and there’s just a natural new awakening of the love you guys share together. Just caring for something that’s so small, and being so gentle and tender makes you just melt.
As for Channing, Jenna tells People that he’s been “amazing,” and although he’s working at the same time, he still visits her on set!
And just how amazing is little Everly doing? “She’s smiling and giggling,” Jenna shared. “Everyone says it’s the best, and it is the best! Last week she just started looking at me and recognizing me and smiling, and my whole world melted!”
Jenna Returns To Work After Welcoming Daughter
Jenna is a working mommy, but it’s not without it’s challenges, according to the actress, who returned to work on her new television series, The Witches of East End. Jenna told the mag all about returning to work after baby Everly’s arrival, and who she relies on to get through the long work days without her little girl, saying:
I was a little worried about getting back to work, having my head be in the right place, leaving her at times… And I still have issues with that, like any new mom [who] goes back to work, but it’s been really a lot easier with the amazing women [who] are part of this cast. They’re helping me a lot.
But while the new mom seems to be balancing new motherhood with work, she does have one wish. She told People, “I can tell you what I’d want my power to be right now. Being a new mom, I would like to be able to sleep. Like this, snap my fingers and sleep, because I’m a little sleep-deprived at the moment!”
