Kristen Stewart took a break from filming Camp X-Ray on July 29, and grabbed a bite to eat in Long Beach, California. And now that Robert Pattinson’s out of the picture, Kristen’s been leaning on a furrier friend (no, not Jacob!) during her time off.
Kristen Stewart New Dog — Lunch Date With Pup After Robert Pattinson Split
The 23-year-old actress was seen cradling an all-black, wily-looking puppy as she headed to lunch, X17 Online reports.
It’s likely that this new puppy’s purpose is to fill the void that Bear and Bernie left when Rob took them post-breakup. When Kristen and Rob broke up in May, he reportedly took both Bear and Bernie, and a source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that they were trying to figure out some sort of joint custody agreement.
It’s possible that Kristen gave up on a custody agreement and adopted a new dog instead.
There’s also a chance that Kristen’s new pup belongs to her mom, Jules Stewart.

Jules recently filed a restraining order against a neighbor for harassment, after they allegedly filed a series of complaints against her, suggesting she illegally keeps wolves on her property. However, it turns out that Jules’ dogs are wolf-hybrids, so there was no cause for concern.
“The honest truth about the animals is, years ago I rescued a few wolf-hybrids, and they live on a large open piece of property filled with trees. They’re loyal, they’re big, they’re completely socialized, they’re licensed, they’re legal for me to have them, and I love them!” Jules told Us Weekly at the time.
