Kanye West has been having a really rough time with photographers since the birth of his and Kim Kardashian‘s daughter North West. On Friday, July 19 he had an altercation with a photographer at LAX Airport after the man got photos of him that he wanted deleted. A source close to Kanye tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Kanye is hoping to send a message to photographers out there with his actions — but will the unease continue until an incident happens again?
Kanye West: Still On Edge After Incident With Photographer
Kanye does not set out to get into a beef with photographers, but he seems quick to feel threatened by their presence — especially when they’re grilling him on his daughter, North, or trying to get a look into the new family’s life.
“Have they learned their lesson?” a source close to the 36-year-old rapper questions, wondering if the paparazzi have heard what Kanye is trying to say with his actions. “He’s trying to warn them now.” Kanye feels that the lesson that needs to be learned in this scenario is on the photographers’ part — not his own.
“It’s going to get real ugly when he wants to take North to the park, or walk her to get her first ice cream cone and a mob of those cameras start going off,” warns our source. “He’s not about to let his little girl go through all of that and be scared. He’s warning them now and he’s serious. He could really hurt someone for [messing] with his family, especially his newborn.”
Kanye West Wants To Be Able To Bring North West Outside
Kanye’s number one concern has always been for the safety of his little girl, North.
“He wants to be outside with his little girl — not just in some house or in the backyard of a mansion behind gates,” our source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He wants her see the world, put her in a stroller and walk around with her. But he can’t do all that now. [The] cameras will be all over him, depriving him of these precious moments he could be having with his daughter.”
Kanye feels that overeager photographers are forcing him into hiding. “He feels like a caged tiger. What do tigers do when they’ve been caged up for a while and then let free? They attack,” warns our source. “And that’s how he feels. He’s pissed he can’t just live in peace and have some time with Kim in the baby without all the attention.”
