Taylor Swift, 23, knew Justin Bieber was trouble when he walked in, but her best friend Selena Gomez, 21, just won’t listen to her advice! Taylor is finally fed up with Justin and Selena’s on-again, off-again romance, and it is sadly causing a rift between the two gal pals.
Justin Bieber Hates Taylor Swift Trying To Turn Selena Gomez Against Him
Taylor has been trying to stay mum about her dislike for Justin, 19, but it seems like she’s reached her boiling point.
“Taylor hates him. She thinks Selena makes a mistake every time she reconciles with him,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Bieber has really come between the girls.”
We can’t say we’re surprised that Taylor feels this way — especially after she dissed the Biebs spectacularly at the Billboard Music Awards back in May — but apparently the feeling is mutual for Justin.
“He complains Taylor’s always telling Selena she can do better,” a source close to the Believe singer tells Us.
Taylor Swift Won’t Bad Mouth Justin Bieber Anymore
Just because Selena may be reconciling with Justin, that doesn’t mean Taylor has to hang out with him! A source close to Taylor tells us that she contemplated flying into Los Angeles for Selena’s 21st birthday party July 27, but decided against it to avoid running into Justin.
“Taylor was talking about how she'll be on a super tight schedule on Saturday night because she has a show and she wants to get to Selena's birthday party,” the source explains. “She was talking about flying out right after her show. She's not going to want to be there if Justin is there, it's so awkward between them now.”
Even though Taylor missed Selena’s party, Taylor’s rep says the two girls are still “great friends who talk almost daily.”
Taylor has been trying her best to keep her feelings about Justin to herself for the sake of her friendship with Selena.
“She’s not saying anything to Selena at the moment about Justin,” the source reveals. “Taylor knows that Selena knows how she feels, so it’s not worth wasting her breath.”
The source adds, “She still thinks he’s [not right for Selena], but it’s not her place to alienate a friend.”
