Robert Pattinson has been making a lot of changes lately — he has a new house in Beverly Hills, an apparent new BFF in Michelle Rodriguez, and now a potential new fling – Mischa Barton.
Mischa Barton & Robert Pattinson: Dating? — Just Friends Or Something More?
Rob has been keeping busy by hosting some intimate gatherings with his inner circle of friends — which now includes Mischa, according to E! News.
R-Patz has been going through a difficult time since his split from Kristen, and he can probably relate to Mischa, who also recently went through a breakup with former boyfriend Sebastian Knapp.
“He [Rob] is very low-key and just wants to be with friends right now,” an insider tells E! News.
“He is extremely cool and laid-back and hasn’t been overly flirting with lots of girls or anything. He just wants to enjoy himself and be with good people.”
It sounds like Rob isn’t looking for a relationship, but his friendship with Mischa could easily develop into something more. They definitely have a few things in common. Mischa is also known for being pretty low-key — she has even said she was referred to as “the shy one” when she was younger — so Rob, a notorious introvert, probably identifies with her in that way as well.

Robert Pattinson Moves To Beverly Hills To Avoid Kristen Stewart
Rob has been making new friends like Mischa in an effort to move on from his life with Kristen. He also decided to leave the past behind him by moving to a totally brand new home, a friend of Rob's tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.
"Rob has moved out of the Los Feliz area to get away from Kristen and her friends," the source says. "There were too many memories there for him."
"Rob's new home is in a gated community in Beverly Hills, where Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera also live," the insider reveals. "Britney Spears also used to live there."
The house is a French Mediterranean-style mansion and it has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a spa, a library and a swimming pool.
Rob's new home — which is worth an estimated $3.5 million — is about nine miles away from where he used to live in Los Feliz, according to E!.
"It's very beautiful, but it does not have a lot of furniture. You can tell he has not lived there for very long," the source explained. "It is very sparse right now."
Well, at least Rob has Mischa to help keep him company in his big, empty house!
