'Project Runway' Preview: Tim Gunn Gets Really Angry At The Contestants Aug 15th 2013, 16:52, by HL Intern A week after a designer walked off the show, Tim totally loses his cool for the first time ever! What sent him over the edge? Watch a preview below! This week on Season 12 of Project Runway, it’s clear we’re in for even more drama than what we’re used to. Tim Gunn has apparently had enough of all the nonsense this season — and for the first time we really see the Gunn go off. Watch below and see what we can expect tonight on Project Runway! Tim Gunn Loses His Cool On ‘Project Runway’ What are we supposed to do when the one person who seems to calm everyone down is the one person that needs taming? This week, the designers participate in an “Unconventional Material Challenge” — meaning they have to design looks and get creative without using common fabrics or materials. After being split into groups of three, the contestants get to work — but it seems that one team isn’t playing by the rules. Quick with a response, the cheating teammates defend their choices by claiming the designs Tim is requesting have “already been done before.” This ultimately triggers Gunn to freak out, responding with shouting remarks like “That doesn’t matter,” “This makes me sick,” and “Why are you grinning?” He even gets in the face of one designer that has obviously pushed the wrong button. Tim doesn’t appear to be the only one disappointed in this week’s designs. The judges critique the looks, saying “It all looks weird,” and “It’s bad.” When Heidi Klum asks about the drama, Tim responds,”I lost it.” Obviously, he knows that he lost his temper — but it seems like he had a valid reason! We’re so excited to see the full episode tonight and see more reasons behind the drama and who wins the challenge!
