With the reports of ‘NSYNC reuniting swirling around, and Lance Bass not denying it, I’m convinced that this would be the best thing MTV does since they had Britney Spears perform with ‘NSYNC at the 1999 VMAs.

There are tons of reasons why an NSYNC reunion needs to happen this year at the MTV Video Music Awards — mostly because no one wanted to say “Bye Bye Bye” to them to begin with.

NSYNC: It’s Time For A Reunion

At this point, I’ve got my hopes way up for this classic reunion. It’s been a long time coming!

The main boy bands of my lifetime — New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Boyz II Men – have all gotten back together, gone on tour, and made me swoon all over again. ‘NSYNC is the only band that shaped my childhood that still hasn’t reunited!

I’m not asking for a full-fledged tour, but a performance on the VMAs is absolutely perfect. Their fans from the late 90s are old enough to actually watch MTV now, and we all know that the world needs a little more “Dirty Pop.”

‘NSYNC was one of the bands that led the way for the boy bands of today, who will be there. I’m a sucker for One Direction, but since they will be at the awards, I’m sure they would love to see the band they learned from live!

Justin Timberlake is a huge star on his own, so some think it’s not the best idea for him to move back toward his past. However, look at Beyonce! She’s Queen Bey and still performed a few of her hits with Destiny’s Child at the SuperBowl in 2013– and everyone loved it.

The Band Is Ready To Reunite, Too

Lance Bass definitely wants the show to happen — he’s been posting pics on Instagram to prove it: hanging with Joey Fatone, holding a sign that says “NKOTB NSYNC,” and just last weekend, the picture that sparked the rumors – Chris Kirpatrick, Joey and himself at Justin’s show in Miami!

Even his SiriusXM show is titled ”Dirty Pop with Lance Bass!” On August 20, he approached the reunion rumors, and definitely didn’t deny them!

“Justin Timberlake is getting the Michael Jackson [Video] Vanguard Award this Sunday at the awards, so of course people are automatically going to think we're going to be there performing,” he said. “I knew these rumors were going to fly.”

Well Lance, let’s make these rumors become a reality — sound good?

In case you’re not 100% convinced this should happen, take a look at the band performing with Britney Spears in 1999 on the VMAs, then tell me how excited you are for the boys to be back!
