Ladies have lusted after Zayn Malik, 20, for years — but sadly, the One Direction singer only has eyes for one woman: 20-year-old Perrie Edwards! Zayn proposed to the Little Mix singer, HollywoodLife.com has confirmed, and thanks to an adorable new interview, we now know what he loves most about her.
“She’s adventurous,” Zayn tells Us Weekly. “Always up for a 2 a.m. ice cream run!”
(Ice cream in the middle of the night sounds good to us! Where’s our engagement ring, Zayn?!)
Inside Zayn Malik’s Romantic Proposal To Perrie Edwards
All kidding aside, Perrie walked the red carpet at the world premiere of 1D’s movie This Is Us on Aug. 20, and we couldn’t stop gawking at her huge diamond ring!
We reached out to Zayn’s rep, who was happy to confirm our suspicions:
Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private.
Confirmation of the engagement also came from Perrie’s mom Debbie, who’s quite literally — OK, not literally – over the moon.
"They are really in love," Debbie told UK newspaper Dorset Echo. “It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. It's true they got engaged on Sunday, and it's absolutely lovely. Perrie loves him to pieces and it's perfect. They get on so well together and understand each other. It's just fabulous.”
Zayn reportedly popped the question when he and Perrie were all alone, a source tells the UK’s Mirror, adding that it was “so romantic.” (Like we’d expect anything less from a Directioner?)
