The former ‘Cosby Show’ and ‘That’s So Raven!’ star wants the world to know she’s coming out…sort of.
There has been talk in the past that Raven-Symone might be gay, and her tweet on August 2 seems to confirm the rumors. Read on for more details!
Raven-Symone Gay? — ‘Cosby Show’ Star Comes Out On Twitter… Maybe
Raven-Symone took to the Twitter to say, ”I can finally get married! Yay government! So proud of you” — which leads us to think Raven was referring to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn The Defense of Marriage Act and dismiss California’s Prop 8 appeal.
If Raven is in fact talking about DOMA, she’s a little late — the Supreme Court made that decision on June 26. Still, better late than never!
In 2012, Raven responded to rumors about her sexuality, tweeting, “My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I’m datings to know. I’m not one for a public display of my life.”
“That is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay,” she added. ”To tell or not to tell. As long as I’m not harming anyone.”
HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Raven’s rep for a comment, but we haven’t heard back yet.
