This week was a real treat on the red carpet. We saw so many sophisticated looks, creative styles, and playful outfits. The competition between the stars for best dressed is always on, but we want to know what look YOU thought was the best!
Katy Perry’s ‘The Smurfs 2 Premiere’ Dress:
Katy Perry is definitely known for taking some fashion risks and stepping out of the box. At the premiere of The Smurfs 2, Perry looked exquisite — per usual. The 28-year-old donned a Tadashi Shoji dress, featuring a hemline that came just below the knee. The top of the frock had a sheer mesh material with floral embellishments of the same bright blue. The bottom was made up of pleated leather, creating an illusion of a flouncy skirt. The two parts looked held together by a belt that cinched her waistline and showed off her curves. In lieu of the movie premiere, she kept with the blue theme and wore a matching pair of Pedro Garcia heels. She wore her hair down in gorgeous curls and accessorized with some bright blue earrings.
Selena Gomez’s Young Hollywood Awards Dress:
Selena Gomez looked HOT in a sleeveless black Versace dress at the Young Hollywood Awards in Santa Monica on August 1, where she won two awards throughout the night: 'Fan Favorite Album' award and the 'Most Anticipated Tour' award. She pulled her gorgeous locks back in a playful pony that complimented the bold and fierce little black number. All eyes were on her! The studded black leather shoulders and a cinched waistline that featured the same design showed a maturing side of the 21-year-old. On her feet, she wore black, strappy Jimmy Choo sandals. Sels rocked a nude lip as she praised her fans at the awards.
AnnaSofia Robb’s Young Hollywood Awards Dress:
AnnaSophia Robb, 19, looked amazing at the Young Hollywood Awards! The star, who was honored for her work in the new movie The Way Way Back, stepped out in an Emilio Pucci white silk butterfly-printed strapless dress. The young actress looked energetic and happy at the 2013 awards show, where she accepted the Female Superstar of Tomorrow award. She paired the dress with metallic accessories and opted for silver pumps, a silver Jimmy Choo clutch and David Yurman jewelry to complete her look.
Diane Kruger’s Fox All-Star Party Dress:
Diane Kruger, 37, attended the FOX Summer TCA All-Star Party in LA on Aug. 1 and she looked seriously phenomenal. Her strapless dress was to die for and it hugged her body perfectly. The lines in the Mary Katrantzou dress complimented the floral pattern in a unique way, making the asymmetrical hemline work well with the ensemble. Her little white clutch matched the white accents in her dress, as to blend-in with the look rather than stand out. The Bridge star’s red lip really made the floral design and colorful flowers pop. She finished off the look with strappy, ankle wrap sandals, a perfect elegant touch for the bold dress.
