The Young Hollywood Awards’ ‘One To Watch’ honoree gave HollywoodLife.com a peek into her character’s future — and it sounds pretty nuts.
If you think Sarah Newlin has been crazy on True Blood so far this season, you haven’t seen anything yet. HollywoodLife.com caught up with Anna Camp backstage at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards on Aug. 1, and she told us we can expect to see her character reach new levels of insanity on the show’s Aug. 4 episode.
“This Sunday night is going to be crazy,” she told us. “You’ll see a woman at the end of her rope. She’s power-hungry, she’s veangeful and you’ll see what happens to a woman like that, who is so dead-set on her mission. Is she going to break? Is she going to succeed?”
Things Come To A (Severed) Head For Sarah
While we wait to see Sarah’s next crazy move, let’s take a look back at her history of insanity this season — like that time she kissed Governor Burrell’s severed head. As it turns out, that was all Anna!
“They didn’t even tell me to do that,” she told us. “I decided to that all on my own during rehearsal. The director loved it, and the crew was like, ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe you just did that.’ But I’m like, ‘This is True Blood. When else am I going to get to kiss a severed head?’”
Good question, Anna. Good question.
