Blondes have more fun! Kim Kardashian debuted a new cut and color on September 2 and the stylists who created the look are spilling about the inspiration!
Kardashian favorite colorist George Papanikolas created the new hue for Kim Kardashian, while Jennifer Aniston‘s go-to stylist Chris McMillan did the cut. Both are speaking out to E! News about her dramatic makeover! Read more about her new blond hair below!
Kim Kardashian Dyes Hair Blonde — Her Glam Squad Speaks
Chris told E! News:
I brought up her length and layered it around her face to grow her bangs out. The swooped up-and-over bang is kind of what we’re doing with her, too — very ’80s-ish. It’s a bit asymmetrical [and] Cindy Crawford-esque. The color only helps make that more amazing.
Colorist George added to E! News:
I’ve been coloring her hair for a year and she’s wanted to go blonder since the day we met. [Kanye] loves it. He was a big cheerleader for her to go blond.
In fact, a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that Kanye was very supportive of Kim’s blonde hair makeover.
“Kanye didn't force her too. She was thinking of doing a few different things with her style peeps but he told her she'd look 'perfect' with that color,” the source tells us. “He suggested it and then next thing you know, boom, it was blond. Everybody liked it."
George posted a photo of Kim’s hair on his Instagram on September 3 writing: “#kimkardashian #newhair #blondes #rootyblonde #ombre #ombrehair #georgepapanikolas #andylecomptesalon #ritahazansalon.”
