A day after a report claimed that Lamar had given in and gone to rehab on Sept. 4, a contradicting report alleged that the struggling athlete has NOT checked into a treatment facility. So did he or didn’t he? HollywoodLife.com has the EXCLUSIVE answer.
The Lamar Odom plot is thickening, and actually getting a little strange. After it was reported that the 33-year-old had checked into a facility on Sept. 4, another report is now claiming that is not the case. Thankfully, sources have given HollywoodLife.com exclusive insight into the deepening mystery.
Is Lamar Odom In Rehab?
A source tells us that Lamar did check into a treatment facility. Though if Lamar did go to rehab, he did so very independently and under the radar, without the knowledge of his family and friends.
Another source extremely close to the Odom family tells HollywoodLife.com that “we hope he’s all right but like Khloe and the rest of his family, [as far as we know] he’s a gone ghost,” suggesting that Lamar is keeping his movements extremely close to the vest.
“We’re all worried,” says the source, who also adds that they have not heard from Lamar since the Sept. 4 report claimed he had checked into rehab. Whether or not that’s a good thing is up for debate, but the source is remaining hopeful: “Maybe it’s good news and he is in a facility getting treatment and that’s why no one has heard from him.”
Lamar Odom: Is He Or Isn’t He In Treatment?
On Sept. 4, People reported that Lamar had checked into a center for his drug and alcohol abuse, but the allegations were refuted less than 24 hours later. A story posted on Sept. 5 claimed that Lamar had not gone to rehab, according to TMZ.
Lamar has gone off the radar, according to their story. Earlier in the day, the site posted a report claiming that Khloe Kardashian had no idea that Lamar had gone to rehab. Her ignorance is not a confirmation of whether or not Lamar has checked into rehab though. Instead it — along with the source close to Lamar’s family — just further emphasizes that Lamar has kept everyone completely in the dark, regardless of if he has gone in for treatment or into hiding.
