Carrie comes to a fork in the road on her 17th birthday as Sebastian interferes with her future as a writer. Plus, keep reading to find out how to win your very own Coach bag, as featured in the March 18 episode!

Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) has big plans for her birthday on the March 18 episode of The Carrie Diaries, but those are thwarted when Larissa expects Carrie to work the door at a party for Interview Magazine. The birthday girl tries to make the most of it by inviting Sebastian, but he has plans with another woman, so she invites Walt instead.

At the party, Walt bumps into hunky Bennett (the guy who kissed him and he called a fag at the Halloween party). Walt apologizes and a special friendship seems to be bonding between the two of them.

Meanwhile, Carrie lies to a book publisher about a book she is supposedly going to write — it’s about a virgin who learns all about sex through her friends. The publisher seems very interested in Carrie until Sebastian shows up unannounced and gets a bit too drunk for the birthday girl’s taste. Carrie misses out on her chance to talk more with the book publisher and is forced to leave the party early with a very drunk Sebastian.

Walt Tells Maggie: We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

Maggie confronts Walt about their breakup, and she surprisingly takes some of the blame. She misinterprets this as him wanting to get back together, but Maggie’s hopes are dashes when Walt simply says they are never ever getting back together. (If it were 2013, we’re pretty sure Taylor Swift’s hit song would have played in the background.)

Carrie Offers Donna A Sign Of Peace

On Saturday, the day after her birthday, Carrie uses the credit card gifted to her by her dad and takes Dorrit and her friends out to breakfast at the diner. Before sitting down to eat, Carrie gives Donna a brand new red Coach duffle bag — a sold out bag that Donna’s been looking everywhere for — simply because she’s been a good friend to Walt. (Carrie got it from Larissa.)

While Carrie didn’t get a chance to spend her birthday with all of her friends, she was happy to be enjoying a nice breakfast with them as she said it’s better late than never.
