Lindsay showed up to court 48 minutes late on Mar. 18 for her hearing that determines whether or not she’ll go to jail! Her dad who is in the court house tells HollywoodLife.com that he can’t believe his daughter cut it so close.
Lindsay Lohan is back to her old tricks! The actress was supposed to be in court at 8:30 AM PST and instead, she showed up at 9:18 AM with a smile on her face and escorted by her attorney Mark Heller. HollywoodLife.com spoke with Lindsay’s dad Michael Lohan, who is in the court house, just minutes before she arrived.
What Lindsay’s Dad Tells HollywoodLife.com
Michael tells us: “She’s late for court. She should have been here a couple of days early and Dina should have gotten her here.”
This was all said moments before she arrived.
Why Lindsay Was Late
Lindsay was all set to be in LA the night before her court appearance but she got off of her plane that was leaving JFK because she didn’t feel safe. Then at 6 AM EST, Lindsay hopped on a private plane, chartered by energy drink Pink, and flew to LA. The plane was diverted to LAX so that she could be closer to the court house.
It’s Lindsay’s first trial date stemming from a car crash last June in which she said she wasn’t driving when she got into an accident. If she’s convicted she could go to jail for 245 days.
Regardless, this is one big mess once again and no one can understand why Lindsay just can’t get her act together. You would think she would have gotten on a plane at least 24 hours before to avoid situations like this!
