The pregnant Duchess is still wearing clothes from before her pregnancy and dressed her bump in her favorite green coat for a St. Patrick’s Day parade, recycling the classic yet stylish ensemble exactly a year later! See how the glowing mom-to-be filled out her outerwear.
Kate Middleton has yet to debut a new maternity wardrobe. Instead, the practical Duchess continues her reign as the royal recycler, showing off look after look from before she was pregnant — and the St. Patrick’s Day parade on Mar. 17 was no exception! Kate looked festive in a green coat when she visited the Aldershot Barracks in Aldershot, England with her husband, Prince William — and that wasn’t the first time we saw the Emilia Wickstead ensemble!
On St. Patrick’s Day in 2012, Kate fist debuted the coat for the festive occasion. While back in 2012 the svelte Duchess belted the green coat and really flaunted her thin frame, this year Kate showed off her growing baby bump — and you can really tell that she’s showing, especially compared to how she looked last year! Her baby belly definitely filled out the coat and the Duchess still looked neat and chic — she’s absolutely glowing!
Black tights, pumps, a turtleneck and gloves kept Kate warm, while she pinned her signature glossy hair back into an elaborate updo. A black John Locke hat that she first wore back in March 2012 completed her look. A shamrock brooch, which decorated her coat last year, was once again present, adding festive charm to her flattering ensemble.
During the festivities Kate’s heel got caught, almost causing the pregnant Duchess to trip — but luckily her attentive husband was by her side to help her get her heel free!
Kate’s pregnancy style continues to impress and we love the way the Duchess flatters her growing baby bump! What do you think? Isn’t it so cool that she continues to recycle clothes from before her pregnancy?
