Lauren first tweeted on March 27, “Happy Holi!” with a photo of her face and hair covered in pink powder.
A few hours later, she tweeted another pic of her clean, pink hair: “So apparently it doesn’t wash out… Looks like I’m sporting pink locks for the rest of this trip.”
But LC might be seeing pink for longer than her vacation!

Instagram commenters are saying that Holi powder lasts for months!
k8e_campbell said: “Holi is awesome — my friend lived in India for a year and the pink dye didn’t come out of her blonde hair — she spent 5+ hours at the salon trying to get it fixed — ended up as a brunette! Hope it goes better for you!”
saaasshhaa said: “This happened to my hair last year also, it took about three months to come out. We tried everything but the best way was to just use your purple shampoo for blonde hair and keep it in for a couple of minutes every wash. It took me a week but I ended up loving the pink (it happened just before pink hair became a craze). Happy Holi!”
We’re definitely loving Lauren’s pink locks, whether it was on purpose or not!
