The new, shortened season of ‘True Blood’ will premiere June 16 on HBO!
Sharpen your fangs, Truebies! HBO announced March 29 that the sixth season of True Blood will premiere June 16 at 9 p.m. Even though the upcoming season has been shorted to 10 episodes, instead of the usual 12 — thanks to Anna Paquin having twins — we’re pretty sure we’ll still enjoy our annual trip to Bon Temps.
OK, let’s talk about what we know so far…
Sookie’s New Season 6 Love Interest Revealed
Just when you thought Sookie couldn’t squeeze any more men into her life, along comes one more! We recently learned that British actor Rob Kazinsky will be joining the show as Ben, a “highly charismatic” fairy who helps Sookie and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) solve their parents’ murder — and probably more, given Sookie’s track record with the supernatural men of Bon Temps.
Who Is Warlow?
Speaking of Sookie and Jason’s parents, True Blood creator Alan Ball chatted with HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine shortly after the fifth season finale, revealing curious details about Warlow, the vampire who allegedly killed Mr. and Mrs. Stackhouse.
“We didn't want to really define Warlow until the next season,” he told the site. And when they asked if fans already know who Warlow really is, Alan simply replied, “No comment.”
Will Eric Wage War Against ‘Billith’ In Season 6?
Alexander Skarsgard is one of the hardest stars to squeeze spoilers from, but he revealed two very curious nuggets of info. back in January: Not only will “Billith” (Stephen Moyer) be back in full force, but there will be a “big war” waged in season six! Could those two things be connected?
