Kordell Stewart Was Too Controlling
A friend of yours told Us Weekly, "[Porsha's] whole identity is about being a happy, obedient wife. The other women [on RHOA] criticized her for not having a backbone but she was like, 'A real marriage is about honoring your man, your king.'"
Although you truly loved Kordell, he was way too controlling over you. You shouldn’t have to ask your husband for permission to do things, especially to hang out with your girlfriends! You need to find a man who is leader, but also lets you be who you are.
Kordell Stewart Made You Choose Between Work & Being A Mom
A source previously told HollywoodLife.com, “Porsha has dreams and ambition, but her man was just too d**n controlling and wanted her home all the time, cooking and cleaning and doing chores.”
We think it’s great that you have career goals of your own! When you wanted to continue charity work while being a mom, Kordell forbid you from doing it. A good mom is a happy mom, so you need to be able to do whatever makes you happy, and Kordell kept you from doing that.
Lots of women are able to balance working and being a mother, and I know you would too. You deserve a man who wants you to be a wonderful mother, but also recognizes your need to do things for yourself too.
Kordell Stewart Wasn’t Honest With You
Just a few hours before Kordell “blindsided” you by filing for divorce, he hung out with his ex-girlfriend Tania Richardson and their child behind your back. If Kordell was keeping the fact that he wanted to file for divorce and that he was spending time with his ex a secret, what else did he keep from you? Trust is the most important thing in a relationship, and Kordell ruined that with you.
Porsha — you deserve so much better, so go find yourself an amazing man!
