Poor Paul! After being eliminated on ‘American Idol,’ the contestant was completely snubbed by Nicki.

When Paul Jolley, 22, was forced to say goodbye to the American Idol stage on the March 21 elimination episode, he expected the judges to send him off with some words of encouragement — but instead, judge Nicki Minaj gave him the cold shoulder!

“She didn’t come up and speak to me,” Paul explained. “I don’t know why. But I still love her.”

Although Nicki chose to ignore Paul, judges Mariah Carey and Keith Urban offered him some support.

“[Mariah] was pretty much telling me ‘don’t give up’ and ‘keep pushing forward,’” Paul said. “Keith was the first one to literally sprint out of his chair and get up there and give me a hug, and that meant a lot to me. Ever since I’ve been a little kid, he’s always been my idol and I’ve always looked up to him.”

‘American Idol’ Execs Aren’t Upset Over Nicki’s Diva Behavior

Despite Nicki’s recent diva behavior on the set, a source close to the rapper tells HollywoodLife.com that American Idol execs knew what they were getting into when they hired Nicki and have no plans to fire her.

"She was just having fun with it and no one's mad at her for cruising," the insider tells us. "They need her, and she knows that. And from day one, Idol knew what the f**k they were getting when they asked her to come do the show, so it's not a surprise."
