She took a chance by adding a deep maroon color to her lips for her visit to Chelsea Lately on Mar 21, which is a major change for this simple-makeup kind of girl.
Selena Gomez’s Dark Lipstick — Girl Gone Goth?
Selena dressed casually for the late night show in a medium-length, lace white skirt and a deep-red and white striped tee. The cherry on top (pun kind-of intended) of the outfit was her dark-cherry lips! Her lipstick really punched up her look to take it from everyday to talk show in one simple step! The trick to pulling of the bold lip look without going overboard is to pair the color with a more simple outfit. Selena did that well and look sweet and sassy at the same time.
There isn’t much jewelry on the actress besides a few rings because she is making her lips the most important accessory. Her lip color is what draws all the attention and really makes her style stand out!
Vanessa Hudgens Is Selena’s Opposite
Appearing on the talk show wasn’t a solo act for Selena. Vanessa Hudgens, 24, joined her costar on the show, but they definitely didn’t have to worry about their outfits looking too similar! Baby V opted for a little black dress and then a more subtle, pink lip to go with it! Vanessa went dark for her outfit and brighter for her lip, while Selena went lighter on her clothes and more goth on her lip!
