Vanessa Hudgens grew up in front of our eyes — from singing in ‘High School Musical’ to having a threesome in ‘Spring Breakers.’ The star is now recording a new song that ‘goes perfectly’ with her raunchy new film.
Vanessa Hudgens has recorded and filmed a video for “$$$ex,” a new song inspired by Spring Breakers, and it’s meant to get listeners just as excited as they are for the new movie.
“It is a great song you can listen to in your car or at the club with your friends,” Vanessa told E! News. “It is a good date-night song, and a good after-the-date song! The song gets you amped up in the same way the movie does.”
The sexy new song may cause quite the uproar, the same way many parts of Spring Breakers did — like the threesome.
The lyrics include “Can’t you feel my hot sex, heart stop beating” and “Fifty in his pocket, a condom in his wallet, he’s not gonna sleep tonight.”
Selena’s Excited To Collaborate
Vanessa is joined on the track by girl-group YLA, which Vanessa was thrilled about since she’s best friends with group member, Laura New.
“I have been really focusing on film for a while, but now that I have some time to myself to hang out in the studio, I might just see what we can mix up together!” Vanessa said.
Rock Mafia, the writers and producers of the song who have also worked with Vanessa’s BFF Selena Gomez, were just as excited about the soon-to-be hit.
“She’s an awesome singer,” Antonina Armato of Rock Mafia said of Selena. “She puts her whole spirit behind the song. She gives everything and doesn’t hold back.”
