There were reports that authorities had a ‘dark-skinned male’ in custody but we can tell you that’s not true. As of right now, no one has been arrested.

The Associated Press, the Boston Globe and CNN were among several news outlets that jumped the gun and claimed a suspect had been arrested. The Boston Globe reported that a surveillance camera at a nearby Lord & Taylor, caught a suspect dropping a black bag off at the location of the second bombing. This unidentified male may be a potential suspect but no one has been arrested.

Boston Bombing: No Arrests Have Been Made

We told you that authorities had obtained an image of a man fleeing the scene of the second bombing. CNN reported that this was a “game changer.” But now all outlets have changed their story and are reporting that no one is in custody, no arrest has been made and there’s no suspect.

HollywoodLife.com spoke to the FBI who tells us:

“Contrary to widespread reporting, no arrest has been made in connection with the Boston Marathon attack. Over the past day and a half, there have been a number of press reports based on information from unofficial sources that has been inaccurate. Since these stories often have unintended consequences, we ask the media, particularly at this early stage of the investigation, to exercise caution and attempt to verify information through appropriate official channels before reporting.”

Boston Bombings: Three Killed

There were two explosions at 2:50 p.m. on April 15, near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. About 183 people were injured and three were killed.
