Such sad news. The third person killed in the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15 has been identified as Lu Lingzi, a graduate student at Boston University who came to the U.S. because it was her ‘dream to get a better education.’
Lu Lingzi’s father identified her as the third victim in the horrifying bombings that took place in Boston on April 15. Lu Lingzi joins 8-year-old Martin Richard and 29-year-old restaurant manager Krystle Campbell as the three innocent people who lost their lives in the terrible, terrible explosion.
Lü Lingzi Dead — Friends Remember Their Lost Loved One
Lu Lingzi, who attended the marathon with her friend Zhou Danling, was currently pursuing a graduate degree at Boston University in Mathematics and Statistics.
Before Lu’s death was officially confirmed, her best friend Li Luquan, 23, told Mail Online, “Lingzi went to the marathon with three friends, one of whom was Zhou Danling and another girl who came home safe. Lingzi did not come home on Monday night and I called the police and notified the Chinese consulate. She’s my best friend, I miss her so much. We were roommates for two years at university in China. All her friends here miss her very much. Nobody knows where she is.”
It’s so heartbreaking to hear friends and family talk about the pain their experiencing due to the loss of their loved ones.
Candlelit vigils were held all across Boston on April 16 as FBI investigators admitted their range of suspects remained “wide open.”
Boston Explosions Affected Many, Many Lives
The explosions on April 15 claimed the lives of three people in total. At least 183 were also injured.
The FBI is currently looking for any and all suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
