The mommy-to-be dressed her bump in green — but did this look really flatter her growing figure? VOTE on whether the look was a maternity must or a major step in the wrong direction!
Kim Kardashian hasn’t had an easy time finding the perfect pregnancy clothes, but she looked phenomenal when she stepped out for the MTV Movie Awards in LA on April 14! Clad in a form-fitting black Elizabeth + James dress, she put her bump on full display in a sexy silhouette that was neat and chic — and definitely a step in the right direction! Just as she dressed to impress on Sunday, she once again let us down with her latest look. The 32-year-old reality star stepped out in a form-fitting silhouette, (a signature style for curvaceous Kim), but it wasn’t the best dress for her pregnant body.
Kim Kardashian Pregnancy Fashion:
The high-neckline on the tight dress made Kim look barrel-chested, while the cap-sleeves cut off her arms in an unflattering way. The fabric of the frock was so tight it was visibly pulling — something that’s really hard to hide when you’re wearing such a bright jewel-tone! Don’t get me wrong, I’m so happy to see Kim embrace color in an ensemble that isn’t black or white, but at the same time I think she should have sized up if she really ha her heart set on wearing the vibrant frock. However, even if she had sized up the fabric of the dress just isn’t right for her pregnant figure.
To finish off the look, Kim stuck with the green theme and paired the dress with suede, laser-cut open-toe booties that matched the dress perfectly. While I’m all for having a monochrome moment, the thin heel of the shoe isn’t the most comfortable option — although it doesn’t look like this pregnant star has any plans on packing her sky-high pumps away anytime soon!
While this definitely isn’t one of her worst looks, it still isn’t one of my fave maternity moments for the star. Kim, there’s nothing wrong with flaunting your baby bump and your new, mommy-to-be curves, but please opt for a breathable, stretchy fabric! I’m uncomfortable just looking at the reality star! I loved her look at the MTV Movie Awards because it was sexy and still looked comfortable — and that’s what I hope to see from the star as her pregnancy progresses!
