The 20-year-old college student, who stabbed 14 people at Lone Star College in Cypress, Texas, is being charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

After Dylan Quick went on a rampage attacking 14 people on the Cypress campus of Lone Star College on April 9, he was taken into custody and is being charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia told reporters that a 911 call came in during the morning reporting a ”male on the loose stabbing people” on the college campus.

Texas College Stabbing Spree — Dylan Quick Had ‘No Motive’

Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirmed exclusively to HollywoodLife.com that “the attacks were at random and there was no motive."

"There are conflicting reports, but there are at least 11 people who were injured," the police said. "Four were taken to hospital. It is still an active scene. There is currently one suspect in custody. We do not know if a second person was involved."

"We can't confirm the weapon. The attack happened this morning in between classes. The attacks were at random and there was no motive."

Texas College Stabbing — All The Details

Alan Bernstein of the Harris County Sherriff's department confirms the attacks happened just before noon. After the attacks began, the college alerted the campus on their school website that two armed suspects were on the loose and advised students to "seek shelter in a secure location."

The suspect was apprehended when a student at the school tackled Dylan as he left the building. The student said that the suspect appeared to be possibly hearing impaired. He also noted that the suspect was dressed in black.
