‘True Blood’ returns June 16, and thanks to Alexander Skarsgard, we now know what the viewers — and the vampires — are in for!
Alexander Skarsgard may be a man of few words, but when he’s talking about True Blood, every word is precious. The giant Viking of a human stopped by LIVE with Kelly and Michael on April 9, and he dropped a tasty little nugget about the show’s upcoming sixth season. Let’s just say “Billith” might not be Eric’s biggest concern.
“Humans have never been a problem [for vampires],” Alex teased. “But for the first time, they’re actually a real threat. Eric’s real busy this year.”
I guess this quote explains why Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) and Tara (Rutina Wesley) are being held at gunpoint by humans in the first official teaser trailer for season six.

Along with an army of humans to worry about, Eric’s got major competition for Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) affections. Rob Kazinsky is joining the cast in season six as Ben, a “highly charismatic” fairy who helps Sookie look into her parents’ death — and knowing Sookie, I’ve got a feeling he’ll be ‘helping’ her with a whole lot more.
