14 people so far have been hurt in a mass stabbing at Lone Star College, in Houston, Tex., on April 9 and some students have been airlifted to the hospital.
Lone Star College is on lockdown as police try and figure out why a man was knifing students in the school’s hallways, with a box cutter. Now 14 people are injured and some students were reportedly bleeding from their neck.
Texas College Stabbing
Alan Bernstein of the Harris County Sherriff’s department says that he can’t confirm how many people are hurt but that this happened right before noon.
The campus posted on their website that there were two armed suspects on the loose and that students should “seek shelter in a secure location.”
Police thought that maybe there were two suspects but right now they’re thinking maybe this man was acting alone.
The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department says that four patients were taken by Life Flight to Hermann Texas Medical Center and two others were transported to Hermann Hospital.
Student Helps Take Suspect Down
James, a student at the school, says the he helped the suspect get arrested. He said that the suspect appeared to be a student and was possibly hearing impaired. He went on to say that the suspect was dressed in black but that he tackled him once he left the building.
This is the same school where a shooting took place in January, and two people were wounded.
