This red carpet beauty looked lovely in yellow at her latest event. She’s clearly beginning to delve into her spring wardrobe, and this look was the perfect debut for the start of the season!
Actress Olivia Wilde attended a party hosted by Marie Claire to celebrate her sexy April cover in NYC on Apr. 3. The star looked beautiful in a colorful frock — it was the perfect way to ring in the sunny spring season! It looks like the 29-year-old took some advice from her cover which boasts, “Bring on spring!”

The star donned a Monique Lhuillier dress from the Resort 2013 collection that fit her little frame perfectly. While she usually opts for sexy looks on the carpet, the white-and-pastel yellow pattern added a feminine touch to the knee-length piece that created a prim finish. A fitted top morphed into a flared skirt, giving the ensemble a flirty and feminine vibe.
Olivia paired the adorable look with a chic pair of bronze Jimmy Choo “Lace” sandals. Her strappy shoes dressed up the innocent frock, finishing off the enviable red carpet ensemble. The high neckline required minimal jewelry, but her delicate drop earrings added just enough glam. Rocking a standout look without going too over-the-top isn’t an easy task, but Olivia pulled it off flawlessly.
A swift updo offset by blue eye makeup, nude lips, and red nails add to the vivacious spring style. We love that Olivia went with such a colorful look for her celebration, especially since we’re so used to seeing her in black! The pop of color definitely did the star justice and we hope to see more of it! While the stunner can pull off any look, the soft colors really compliment her complexion.
