Kristen Stewart, you survived one hell of a 22nd year. You hit your lowest point when your cheating photos were published in July 2012, but boy, did you ever redeem yourself and then soar!
Kristen Stewart, the love of your life, Robert Pattinson, should be beyond proud of you today on your 23rd birthday!
Kristen Stewart’s Past Year – 2012 Was Your Biggest Year Yet
You faced the two biggest challenges of your life this year — you were publicly caught cheating on Rob with Rupert Sanders, and your beloved parents, John and Jules Stewart, filed for divorce — and yet you emerged stronger and wiser than ever.
Kristen, your mother Jules has said that you are an “old soul” and she’s right! Without maturity beyond your 22 years, you could never have coped with two major personal crisis and have learned from them.
Plus, you survived an overwhelmingly busy career year with three major film releases under your belt, On the Road in May, Snow White and the Huntsman in June, and Breaking Dawn — Part 2 in November.
And, you went all out promoting each one, giving at least a couple hundred interviews, gracefully walking multiple red carpets and talking to and taking photos with thousands of fans.
Kristen, You Stayed Professional Despite Personal Troubles
Kristen, you never let your personal grief and turmoil get in the way of your professional commitments, nor your close relationship with your devoted fans. That must have been tremendously hard for you.
The photos of your rendezvous with Rupert became public on July 24, but your personal embarrassment and grief didn’t prevent you from bravely walking the red carpet at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 6.
That took a lot of courage. A lesser woman would have stayed in bed with the covers over her head — but not you, Kristen.
Rob heard your courageous public apology to him for cheating on July 25. He knows how much you deeply regretted your inappropriate behavior with Rupert. He knows you immediately realized your terrible mistake. And he also knows you were determined to do whatever you had to do to earn his forgiveness, trust and love again.
You’ve never wavered in your quest to prove to Rob that he is your soul mate for life and that you are trustworthy. You will never ever take his love for granted again.
Kristen, you have proven that you can learn from your mistakes. Not every 22-year-old can do that.
You Proved To Rob How Mature You Are By Giving Him Space
When Rob tested you again with a trial separation while filming The Rover in Australia, you held steadfast in your commitment to the relationship.
You respected Rob’s desire to reflect on your relationship and stayed completely loyal and devoted while he was away.
Kristen, you also had to cope with the emotional trauma of your beloved parents filing for divorce on Aug. 17.
It’s never easy for any family to undergo a divorce. Even adult children, like you Kristen, are deeply affected by your family being torn apart.
And, it must have been extra hard for you because you were also separated from Rob at the same time. So you didn’t have his comforting shoulder to lean on. But again, you soldiered through, and have remained close to both of your parents.
So Kristen, Rob really should be proud of you for maturely dealing with these two personal crisis during the past year.
He must also be happy that you’ve learned to be even more demonstrative and loving toward him, even in public — which has made your romantic relationship even stronger.
Rob Should Be Impressed With Your Daring Roles
Kristen, Rob should also be so proud of you for your work in the challenging role of Marylou in On the Road.
You loved being pushed in that role. “I have to find people like this [Marylou], who will push me, who don’t compromise on their desires, even if they’re different to the norm,” you told The Guardian newspaper.
And talk about being pushed! Rob has to applaud you, Kristen for conquering one of your biggest fears — riding a horse — in order to play the warrior princess, Snow White. And you rode that role to a $400 million worldwide gross.
Through It All, Kristen — You’ve Stayed True To Yourself
Finally, Rob should be proud that you have never lost your essential self, despite becoming a huge and wealthy movie star, who was also named Best Dressed Woman of 2012 by Glamour U.K.
You still love to cook for your friends and family. You’d rather hang at a comfortable dive bar with Rob than go to glamorous Hollywood events. You take your heels off on red carpets and wear your beloved Converse sneakers. You’d rather wear Rob’s clothes, cut-off shorts and baseball hats than designer wear, despite being the face of Balenciaga. You care more about your rescue dogs, Bear and Bernie. And, you couldn’t care less about the trappings of fame.
You’ve remained the down-to-Earth Kristen that your fans, friends, family and Rob all love. So happy 23rd birthday, and we hope Rob makes your day wonderfully special!
