After Louisville’s win, the net was brought down to Kevin. With the injured Louisville player on crutches and unable to climb a ladder up to the net, the entire basket was lowered for Kevin.

“It meant the world to me. I honestly didn't expect it,” Kevin said to CBS Sports.

The college sophomore suffered a horrific leg fracture during the regional finals, but was rushed to immediate surgery, and later accompanied his teammates to Atlanta for the Final Four on April 6.

Kevin Will Be Playing Basketball Again Soon

Kevin’s strength was evident when, just a day after his injury, on Apr. 1, the basketball player was up walking around his hospital room with the aide of crutches. Doctors actually think that Kevin could be back playing basketball in about six months. "I'll be back next season," Kevin told Good Morning America.

Kevin was released from the hospital on April 2, further proving his tenacity. Of course, he has his mother and girlfriend to thank for his speedy recovery.

We’re so happy to see Kevin in good spirits again! What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers?
