Oh no! Just a couple of months since Holly and her fiance, Pasquale Rotella, welcomed their baby into the world, and Pasquale is facing hard jail time. What will happen to this blossoming family?
Just a day after Holly Madison and Pasquale Rotella set their wedding date on Holly Has A Baby, it has been revealed that Pasquale is facing up to 13 years in prison for charges that include bribery and conspiracy.
Holly Madison’s Fiance Going To Jail?
Holly’s fiance, and the father of her child, appeared in a Los Angeles court on May 13 to face charges for bribery, embezzlement, conspiracy, and conflict of interest, according to Radar Online.
Allegedly, Pasquale used more than $2.5 million in funds from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to bribe city officials. He was indicted along with five other people involved in his company, Insomniac Events. He posted bail, which was set at $1.8 million, and was released from jail.
Reportedly, the case will reconvene just two weeks before Pasquale and Holly planned to wed, on July 29. If he is convicted on all of the charges, he will go to prison for more than a decade.
Pasquale Rotella ‘Has Always Acted Lawfully’
Though this definitely looks really bad for Holly’s fiance, his attorney has continued to stand strongly in defense. Pasquale “has always acted lawfully and appropriately with respect to all of his dealings with the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum,” the lawyer, Gary Jay Kaufman said. “Any allegations of wrongdoing on the part of Mr. Rotella by the District Attorney's office are completely baseless and flat-out wrong.”
“Any charges against Mr. Rotella are clearly politically motivated and publicity driven,” he concluded.
