Lauren Conrad’s Diet Tips — How She Gets Bikini Ready
Lauren looks amazing in a bikini so she shared her top tips with HollywoodLifers as Malibu and Lauren introduced the brighter side of spiced with the all new Malibu Island Spiced rum in New York on May 7.
“I am not an excellent dieter to be honest,” Lauren laughed to us. “Whenever I go onto a diet, I end up eating worse then what I did before. If you tell me that I can’t have it, then that is all I want! So I think the important thing is to have a balance, make healthier choices. But not depriving yourself of everything. If you are at a party with friends or entertaining, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a drink, just pick a smarter option. If you are having dinner, maybe take the bun off your turkey burger or order a salad. I think it is small choices that works for me.”
LC’s Pink Hair
We were obsessed with Lauren’s accidentally dyed hair while she was in India, so we asked her if she would do it again!
“I have done it on purpose a couple times to be honest, I think that was the third time that my hair was pink. So yes! I actually have pink dye in my shower, so every once in a while I will add it to my shampoo and my hair will be light pink for a couple days. I really like having light pink hair!”
Lauren Conrad Spills On Her Beauty Icons
As far as Lauren’s beauty icons, she definitely takes inspiration from the past!
“Whenever I am with my makeup artist and we are trying to think of things to try, I tend to pull up old photos. I never look at stuff from a carpet from the last decade. I think I like the timeless beauty and the classic looks, so it usually is someone from Hollywood from 40 or 50 years ago!”
