Savannah Guthrie is about to be a married woman! The 41-year-old Today Show host announced the news on May 13 while sitting with her co-host Matt Lauer.
Savannah Guthrie Announces Engagement On ‘Today’
The morning show host announced the amazing news during the program. She said that she’s going to be marrying her boyfriend Michael Feldman and she was grinning from ear-to-ear.
Even Matt congratulated her on the show and said: “Good for you and congratulations to Mr. Feldman. He’s a great guy.” This all happened over Mother’s Day weekend while the two were in Turks and Caicos. She says that she knew they were getting engaged but didn’t realize it would happen on that trip.
Savannah was actually married once before. The pretty anchor was married from 2005 to 2009 to BBC News host Mark Orchard. Savannah’s new guy is a media and political advisor.
Savannah Says Her Colleagues Didn’t Realize She Was Wearing Her Ring
She said on the show that she was wearing her engagement ring to see if anyone would notice.
“I was wearing this ring hoping one of my colleagues might notice,” she said. “But no one noticed!” Then Matt said: “You could have seen it from across the room.”
