Karrueche isn’t happy about the criminal charges filed against Chris on June 25. She witnessed the May 2013 car accident, which these charges stem from, and says Chris did not flee the scene or provide false insurance information to the other driver, a source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
Karrueche Tran is fully supporting Chris Brown after he was charged with a hit and run, stemming from a May 2013 car accident, when the “Fine China” singer allegedly rear-ended another vehicle, HollywoodLife.com is EXCLUSIVELY reporting. Karrueche doesn’t believe Chris is guilty and she thinks the charges are ludicrous.
Karrueche Tran Supports Chris Brown After Hit & Run Charges Filed
“It’s a shame what’s happening to Chris,” a source close to the aspiring 25-year-old model tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “Karrueche’s got his back! She was there and witnessed the whole thing. She saw how everything went down. She was right there and watched Chris give this woman all his information and she even gave the woman her phone number, since she was involved.”
This isn’t the first time that Karrueche has witnessed people trying to take advantage of the 24-year-old singer. Our source says that women only see dollar signs when it comes to Chris.
“It drives [Karrueche] crazy. She’s been with him when girls toss their panties on stage, and she’s seen girls slap and push each other at clubs just to get close to him. She’s seen people just try to extort him for no reason. Karrueche feels for [Chris], she really does. It makes her sad because there isn’t one day where he can just be himself, you know, calm and relaxed, without there being some type of drama,” says the source.
Chris Brown Charged With Hit & Run, Faces Possible Prison Sentence
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, The L.A. City Attorney's office filed two criminal charges against Breezy on June 25 over a minor fender-bender that occurred in May. If the “Fine China” singer is found guilty, Chris could be sentenced to up to four years in prison!
The City Attorney’s office says the issue at hand is that Chris reportedly gave the wrong insurance information, left the scene and didn't have a valid driver’s license. However, the singer denies all of these claims.
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers. Do you think Chris is guilty of a hit and run?
